Multi-Segment Strategy

XP is per segment, not per trip. AMS-CDG-NCE in Business = 2 segments = 30 XP vs. AMS-NCE direct = 15 XP. Always prefer connections over direct flights.

Antwerp Hack (ZWE)

KLM Air&Rail from Antwerp (ZWE) to AMS counts as a flight segment earning 15 XP in Business. ZWE-AMS-CDG-TUN = 3 segments/direction = 90 XP RT. Often cheaper than originating from AMS.

SAF Contributions

Sustainable Aviation Fuel contributions on KLM.com/AirFrance.com earn ~1 XP per €10. This is the only non-flight method that also earns UXP.

NL/FR Amex Silver: 15 XP/year (€84). Gold: 30 XP/year (€198).
US BoA Visa: Up to 160 XP/year ($89).

La Premiere Feeder Trick

When booking First Class with connections, all connecting segments count as First Class for XP — even if you fly Business on the feeder leg.

Award tickets earn 0 XP. Miles+Cash earns full XP.
